On September 4th, you’ll be able to stream Mulan right from your home (the film was originally slated to be released March 27th, followed by July 24th and August 21st). But there is a catch.
Mulan will be released to Disney+, but subscribers will still have to pay an extra fee of $30! Yep, you will have to pay $30 to see Mulan, on top of your regular subscription fee. Granted if it was in the theater you would likely drop the $30 AND have to get… you know… dressed.
I had wondered if they would do this- no way were they going to give Amazon the chance to make money on it like Universal did with the Trolls movie. I just wasn’t sure if they could get the technology going that fast.
I guess they can.
