Have you ever tried powdered peanut butter? I haven’t but know some people who swear by it. The problem is that it is crazy expensive- like $25 for a package.
I am thinking this would be a great add in for a smoothie!
What’s the benefit of using powdered peanut butter? Over 90% of the fat is removed from the peanut! Essentially the oil is squeezed out of roasted peanuts and what remains is a
peanut powder.
For those of you on Weight Watchers this is one of their recommended foods- 1 point per serving!
So I was very surprised this morning to see it on sale on Amazon today! If this sounds interesting to you check out these products:
Powdered Peanut Butter – 85% Less Fat and Calories – 16 Oz $10.99
PB2 Chocolate Powdered Peanut Butter – 1 LB $12.24
PB2 PB Thins Peanut Butter Crackers – All Natural, No Additives – 6oz bag $6.48
As always this is Amazon- the price could change at any moment!
Thanks My Litter!
If anyone has any good recipes for this stuff, I’d love to see them. I bought both the regular and the chocolate and it tastes nasty to me with just the water added to it.
Love your website, too 🙂
It’s pretty inexpensive at the commissary and they carry the cooking oil also. I want to say I paid like $2 for a container of the powdered peanut butter.
