USPS has announced they expect the increase in postage to take effect on August 29, 2021. They say the price increase is to help offset the decline in mail volume.

A single stamp for First-Class Mail Single-Piece Letters (1 oz.) will go from $0.55 to $0.58 each.  So you might want to grab some forever stamps before this happens!

Other Increases Include:

  • First-Class Mail Letters (metered 1 oz.) $0.51 to  $0.53
  • First-Class Mail Domestic Postcards $0.36 to $0.40
  • First-Class Mail Single-Piece Flats (1 oz.) $1.00 to $1.16
