I am going to keep these posts simple as I shop. If you want to get INTO Walgreens other bloggers have tons of information available. But if these items look good to you and you could use any of them, you can do everything I did!
Terms to Know:
For those of you who are like me and need a refresher on the terms here is what I needed to know for today:
Walgreens Cash– you earn it and it loads into your Walgreens account. You can see the total on the app. No paper to keep track of but it will expire eventually. You’ll earn 1% Walgreens Cash rewards storewide and 5% Walgreens Cash rewards on Walgreens branded products. When you want to use it just tell the cashier. The PIN machine will ask you how much you want to use at checkout. You can use the minimum of $1 and the maximum of $50 per transaction.
Register Rewards– manufacturer coupons that print out from the Catalina machine at the register. This is a piece of paper you have to keep track of. They usually last about two weeks. It’s the same as using cash though there are restrictions like prescriptions, cigarettes, alcohol, etc.
Walgreens Digital Store Coupons– You will find the coupons listed in the Walgreens ad and on Walgreens.com and the Walgreens app. They are often called “load to card” but will show up if you enter your phone number at checkout. You don’t have to have an actual card. Some of these will be coupons for individual items and some will just be overall coupons- things like “spend $25 and receive $7.” Just clip everything you can!
