Teacher Appreciation week is traditionally the first full week in May (unless your school does something different). Looking around for 2024, the official week is May 6th through May 10th.
Just note that to take advantage of these offers and deals, you’ll need to show a valid I.D. to prove you are a teacher. And if you are making a special trip, I would call to confirm, as some locations may choose not to participate!
Teacher Appreciation Discounts and Freebies
Buffalo Wild Wings: Buffalo Wild Wings is giving 20 percent off an order for teachers. This can be used for both dine-in and to-go orders. A valid school ID must be provided to receive the discount.
Golden Corral: Get 20% off one adult buffet purchase during Teacher Appreciation Week with identification or proof of employment at participating locations. The restaurant is also offering a “grads eat free” promotion May 6-10.
HTeaO: From May 13-26, 2024, teachers can get 50% off cups of tea.
Insomnia Cookies: Get a free cookie with your ID May 6-12, plus enter their 2024 SWEETstakes for a chance to win a $250 cookie catering package
McAlister’s Deli: Teachers & Nurses can get free tea at McAlister’s Deli from 5/6 – 5/12 when you show your badge or ID. Offer valid in-store only.

Sonic: From May 9 to 16, every teacher, faculty or staff at K-12 or degree-granting university in America is eligible for a FREE cheeseburger with purchase. To get the offer, educators need to enroll in the Sonic Teachers’ Circle, an awards program exclusively available for educators. You must be enrolled in the program before Monday, May 6 to be eligible for any rewards.
