A ticket stub organizer can be a great gift if your guy is into events- movies, concerts, games or even theatre!
Valentine’s Day Gifts for your husband or boyfriend can be tough to figure out. Dads and sons can be even worse. But it doesn’t have to be that way! If you want to get something besides candy and stuffed animals for the man in your life, there are plenty of other, more guy-friendly options to look out for. There are some gifts- unique or otherwise- that may be perfect for the man in your life.
For twenty days I will highlight one gift option every day in hopes that I can help you figure out the perfect gift. And, if I am lucky, I can find it for you on sale!
And be sure to follow my Valentine’s Gifts For Him Pinterest Board! (It will fill up as the series continues!)
Ticket Stub Diary
Apparently the catch phrase for a book you put ticket stubs in is a Ticket Stub Diary. My favorite is the Just the Ticket: Ticket Stub Organizer because you can buy additional pages to fill it. Many are bound books so when it fills up you can’t add more pages. This one you could add playbills, programs or any other mementos (as long as they are flat).
A Shadow (Or Memory) Box
After asking several of my guy friends which of these methods they preferred they all voted for the shadow box. They wanted something they could walk up to, drop the ticket in and see it on the wall as a reminder. No planning or deep thought involved on their part but memories are still hanging around.
I absolutely love this Wooden Shadow Box Wine Cork/Bottle Cap Holder 9″x11″ – Been There Done That with Ticket on Amazon. Right now it’s around $35 shipped and they have it in a variety of colors to match any decor.
If you want to get it personalized nothing is going to beat the variety you will find on Etsy.com. I got the best result searching for “ticket stub shadow box.” There are some beautiful options and you would be supporting a small business!
If you want to make one yourself there are tons of options at Michaels.com and at their stores. You could create a personalized background or use a special marker to draw on the glass or plastic. People at the store would be more qualified to give you advice on that then I am.
This may not be perfect for you so watch tomorrow for the next post in this series!
