The Trick To Hiding Holiday Gifts- Layaway
This is a sponsored post, I am a Kmart Layaway blogger, though all opinions are my own.
When we were kids my sister and I made an art of finding our holiday gifts. There was no furniture unsearched, no attic left unexplored and no trunk left unopened. After a few years my parents began threatening to take everything back- moving it from hiding place to hiding place in an effort to surprise us on Christmas morning.
Then they discovered a magical solution that the stores provided- free layaway. The stores would hold our gifts on-site- somewhere that we could not search. Not only that but it allowed them to shop early thus guaranteeing they would have stock of the items we really wanted. It was the best of both worlds for two busy working professionals.
Kmart has begun providing you with this same luxury- by offering their holiday layaway program with Kmart’s Big Layaway Giveaway
. There is one Layaway Give Away per store from now until 11/17/12. Put your gifts on LayAway and once a week you have the chance your balance will be paid off!
The hot toy lists for this year are already out and some of these items are going to be hard to find soon. I keep hearing the name “Doc McStuffins” and think those items are going to be cleared off the shelves soon- as well as those LeapPad 2 products and the those Furby 2012! You can grab them now so you don’t have to wait in lines later.
And if you shop now KMart will waive the normal $5 or $10 layaway fee. One of the things that makes KMart stand out from other retailers this year is they are including a large selection of classic gifts in their selection as well- along with your Furby you can grab Twister, Holiday Dance Barbie and lots of Legos! Kmart has also released a list of Fab 15 toys they will give you to make sure you grab the best items while doing your shopping! Check out the chart
to see how their Layaway program stacks up compared to other retailers!
So start your shopping now and relieve your stress later!
