These easy scalloped potatoes are easy to make and tastes anything but, even though its made from only 5 simple ingredients.  They are reminiscent of the flavorful and comforting dishes mom and grandma used to set on the table.  Perfect  alongside ham for an Easter side dish or for any other day.

Easy Scalloped Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients:

7-8 medium russet potatoes

2 1/2 cups whole milk

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

4 Tbsp. butter, diced

3 Tbsp. all- purpose flour.

garlic salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Coat 11×13 baking dish well with butter.

Slice potatoes to 1/8″ to 1/4″ thickness.

Layer half the potatoes in bottom of pan.

Top with half the shredded cheese.

Layer remaining potatoes in dish.

Top with remaining cheese.

Heat milk in microwave for 2 minutes, whisk in flour, salt and pepper.

Pour milk mixture over top of potatoes.
