Locals: Women’s Consignment Sale (Spring and Summer Clothing Sale)

I don’t think I have ever posted those words before!

This is a GREAT chance to bulk up your wardrobe at an event just for you! This sale will also include household items.

The sale will take place June 14-16 (with a presale on the evening of the 13th for a $10 donation to Dress for Success). It will be held at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in North Suffolk (Rt. 17, 1/2 way between 664 and the JRB).

They will feature thousands of designer fashions and home decor items at consignor prices. This is their spring/summer sale so these are clothes to wear right now!

I have no first hand knowledge of how it will be and no testimonials so if you check it out please let me know! The picture above is from one of their previous sales and it looks like a good selection!

They have a great website where you can check out all the information!

Since we don’t see consignment sales often with adult clothing this might be a great chance to pick up some clothing for yourself or your older daughters!

*See the comment below for more detailed information.

Locals: 50% Off Paint N Sip in Virginia Beach

For those of you who follow me on facebook a few weeks ago I posted pictures of a painting I was doing.

Please note I am NOT an artist who works with paint- I am much better with music! So when I tell you the class is designed for anyone to be able to do no matter how unskilled they are please be sure that includes me. I was nervous that I would end up screwing the whole thing up.

However I feel like my painting turned out pretty amazing.

I went with four other girlfriends and we each painted the same painting, following the same instructor. And the picture above shows our 5 paintings- which look similar and different at the same time.

Today you can get the chance to do your own painting for $15- half off the normal price. With today’s three great deal offers from Paint ‘n Sip in Virginia Beach, you can discover the inner Monet in you (or Andy Warhol, or Vincent Van Gogh, or… well, you get the picture)! You can choose from a two-hour painting session for $15 (regularly $30), a three-hour painting session for $20 (regularly $40), or delight your child on their next birthday with a 12-child painting party for only $89 (regularly $180)!

Oh and the whole “Sip” part means bring what you like. You can fill in the blanks.

When you go tell her you saw the deal on A Frugal Chick!

This deal expires 6/7.
