Locals: Hydro X Flyboarding For $99

I had to post this because I didn’t know it is even exists!

Right now on Living Social you can get a Flyboarding session for $99.

What is Flyboarding you ask?  (I didn’t know either).

Combining aspects of Jet Skiing, water skiing, wakeboarding, acrobatic diving, and more, flyboarding is the perfect summer activity for thrill-seekers:

• $99 ($199 value) for a 30-minute flyboarding experience
• Jet-powered machine allows propulsion in water & air
• Open Monday through Friday by appt. only and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Rocket From the Water and Have a Blast
Head to Owl Creek in Virginia Beach or Jordan Lake in Apex, NC and get ready to shoot from the water on your jet-powered machine. You’ll have two nozzles connected to your feet that will propel you swiftly from the water; to control your movements, find your balance and tilt your feet. You’ll also have two nozzles for your hands to help with stabilization.

This could be an AWESOME graduation gift (or maybe even Mother’s Day!)

Locals: Busch Gardens Behind The Scenes Tours Deal

I am SO tempted to hit “Buy Now” on this deal because it looks so cool.

This would be a GREAT gift for someone in your life who loves roller coasters.

You’ve screamed your way through the hills, twists, and turns of the Griffon®, Alpengeist®, and the rest of Busch Gardens’® thrilling coasters. Now, go behind the scenes with the experts at Busch Gardens® and learn how they create such amazing experiences:

• Park is home to a wide variety of world-class coasters, rides, and shows

The Ultimate Busch Gardens Insider Tour takes you into the core of the Escape from Pompeii® building, and lets you go behind the scenes at Curse of DarKastle®, tour the Festhaus® bakery, and learn about the landscaping of the Italy Gardens®. You’ll also get to check out the maintenance area of the Loch Ness Monster® and enjoy one-time priority boarding. Local Kroger Stores No Longer Doubling Coupons

I don’t talk much about Kroger because in my area I don’t feel they have deals to compete with the other stores but I know some of my readers are loyal Kroger shoppers.

I just wanted to show you the announcement they made today:

In an effort to provide you with the most value for your dollar, we are updating our coupon policy and implementing a New Lower Prices program. Effective May 12, 2013, we are discontinuing our practice of doubling (up to 50 cents) manufacturer coupons in the Mid-Atlantic region. We will continue to accept manufacturer coupons and other coupons at face value, including: digital coupons, e-coupons, Catalina coupons and printables. We will also be investing additional resources into lowering prices for our customers on everyday items. We understand that this is a significant change. We hope that you come and see our new low prices – as well as the many other ways to save — for yourself.

• Downloadable, clip-free coupons daily on www.kroger.com
• Special sales events such as Mega Event and Cart Busters
• Fuel savings program that offers up to $1 off per gallon at Kroger Fuel Centers
• 10¢ off per gallon gas savings opportunity at participating Shell stations
• Loyal Customer Mailings containing customized coupons.
• $4/$10 generic drug pricing (see Pharmacy for details)

They have done this in many locations around the country so it isn’t a surprise.  Most of my friends have just discontinued their shopping at Kroger and switched to other stores.

Have you experienced this?  Will this change where you shop?
