I worked these meals around split chicken breasts and 93% lean ground beef because they are on sale this week and they are a bit healthier. If you purchase a whole chicken and pull the meat yourself you could certainly save a few more dollar. Lean ground beef is the same price as the 80% this week.
I also added 5 cans of vegetables to the shopping list to be used for sides on any meals you think may need them. You could also make additional salads.
