The Internet has been buzzing with the new Harris Teeter Super Doubles rules in the ad for this week.
While most things stayed the same there were a few small differences and I wanted to let you know that there are NO changes from what we are used to!
The words in bold are the ones published in the ad and the information behind it has been collected by the coupon community.
“We accept only one coupon for buy one get one free items” The information posted was inaccurate and a misprint and that you WILL be able to use TWO coupons during a buy one get one free sale. We have always been able to so this is GREAT. The stores have been contacted about the misprint and I don’t anticipate there being problems.
“No rainchecks will be issued for coupon items which are out of stock on Super Double Day.” I guarantee you this is a result of people being difficult. Rainchecks are issued on an item for the price in the AD, not the price after the doubled coupon. If the ad says $2.99 the raincheck will be for $2.99- just like every other week during the year. Remember a rain check does not make the coupons automatically double when you use it.
