Suddenly, when he falls under suspicion of atheism, a capital crime, Marlowe fears his many powerful enemies have launched a conspiracy to have him executed.

With only a few days to clear his name, he quickly enlists the aid of a young William Shakespeare – one of the few friends he can still trust. But will anything save a man as troubled as Marlowe?

Amazon Free Download: “Cold Turkey”

You gotta love a good Thanksgiving book.

Right now on Amazon you can download “Cold Turkey (Events Unlimited, Book One)” for FREE on Amazon.  Amazon changes prices regularly so I am not sure how long it will be free.

Here is the description from Amazon:  When Annike McKinley returns to her Aunt Gerda’s home for Thanksgiving she finds the body of Clifford Brody, C.P.A., bleeding all over her aunt’s tax receipts.  While Sheriff Owen Sarkisian and the crime team track mud through the house, the Service Club of Upper River Gulch Environs (the SCOURGEs) sticks Annike with organizing the town’s Thanksgiving weekend activities, which gives her the opportunity to investigate the murder on her own to clear the chief suspect—her beloved aunt.   She’s soon up to her neck in pancake breakfasts, pie-eating contests, community dinners—and a raffle prize that threatens to take over her life.  After ordering Annike to stop interfering, Sarkisian is forced to beg the aid of her accounting skills to help unravel the case.   She keeps a tight rein on her growing enjoyment of his company, though, for as the widow of a former sheriff of the county she is determined not to get romantically involved with another law officer.  Then one of the suspects is found dead, stripped to his boxers and socks in a vat of apricot brandy.  Before the murderer is captured, both Annike and Sarkisian narrowly avoid adding to the body count!

Rite Aid: 4 Tubes Of Colgate for $3.50 + $3.50 In Store Credit

Last night while teaching a coupon class I stumbled across a GREAT deal on toothpaste this week (11/6 – 11/12) at Rite Aid.  Even without any coupons you can still score 4 tubes of toothpaste for $3.50 plus sales tax.

When you shop at Rite Aid you earn Up Rewards.  These are basically Rite Aid coupons for a certain amount off your total.

This week at Rite Aid they have Colgate Total Advance Toothpaste (4 oz) on sale for $3.50.  When you purchase it you get $3.50 in Up Rewards.  So in coupon math it is FREE.  However you can buy four of them with your Rite Aid Wellness card (which you must have to do any of the transactions) so this can be a big chance to stock up!

Also in the 10/30/11 Smart Source Insert there was a coupon for this item. So feel free to use that on your first transaction if you have it.

Transaction #1: Colgate Total Advance Toothpaste $3.50
Price Out Of Pocket: $3.50 plus sales tax
Plus get $3.50 in Up Rewards

Transaction #2: Colgate Total Advance Toothpaste $3.50
Pay With $3.50 in Up Rewards from Transaction #1
Price Out Of Pocket: Sales Tax
Plus get $3.50 in Up Rewards

Transaction #3: Colgate Total Advance Toothpaste $3.50

Transaction #4: Colgate Total Advance Toothpaste $3.50
Pay With $3.50 in Up Rewards from Transaction #3
Price Out Of Pocket: Sales Tax

So in the end you have 4 tubes of toothpaste and $3.50 in Rite Aid credit you can use on something else!

If you are in Hampton Roads and need somewhere to donate the toothpaste I have a suggestion!

Amazon Free Book Download: Heart of a Knight

Since I am now addicted to “Once Upon A Time” on ABC a book with “Knight” in the title catches my eye.

Right now you can download Heart of a Knight to your PC, Kindle or Smart phone for FREE.

Here is the Amazon description: Lady Elizabeth D’Auvers returns to her beloved home, Woodell Castle, after a self-imposed exile to save herself and her stepchildren from the plague sweeping Britain. Afraid that she will find death and ruin, she is relieved to discover that her castlefolk and lands have thrived in her absence due to the presence of Lord Thomas of Roxburgh. Lord Thomas’s great physical size is equaled only by the size of his heart, and his kindness and care for her people earn him the Lady’s gratitude. But Elizabeth soon feels much more for Thomas than gratefulness, for desire and passion draw her to the dark, mysterious knight. Thomas, too, is powerfully attracted to the beautiful Lady, but the secrets he keeps may destroy their chance at happiness and bring about his own death
