Restaurant.com Gift Certificate Deal

Thanks to Nicole from The Daily Press for this info:

Today, Restaurant.com is hosting a rare 90 percent off sale. That means you can get a gift certificate for $25 at The Firkin and Frigate in Newport News, for example, for $1.50 (normally the gift certificate would cost $15). The stipulations require that you spend at least $35 and an 18 percent gratuity will be added pre-discount.

To access the discount, enter the code WOW at checkout.

As I’ve said in previous posts on the topic, if you’re asked to participate in a survey, skip it. The fine print allows them to enroll you in a monthly program. Other than that, the Web site has a well-established reputation for reliability and security.

Another note: The site is a bit slow today because of the sale.
