The Body Shop: 3 for $30 Plus Great Shipping Deal

If you love The Body Shop as much as I do you know their stuff can sometimes get sort of pricey.

Now through 11/26 you can get 3 items for $30 plus this really cool deal.

After you get your $30 worth of items you can select the “Mistletote” bag and add it to your cart.  It will be $25 for the following items:

Holiday Pudding Sponge
Peppermint Foot Treatment
Strawberry Shower Gel
Spiced Vanilla Scrub
Spiced Vanilla Soap
Spiced Vanilla Butter

In my head you could split up that bag and turn it into 2 additional gifts for people!

This would make your total $55 and then shipping would be FREE!

So if this interests you, check out The Body Shop and their 3 for $30 deal!

GONE: Nintendo Wii for $95.99 On-Line

THIS DEAL IS EXPIRED

This was one of those deals I wasn’t sure would pop up online but Walmart stepped up to the plate!

Right now you can get the blue Nintendo Wii for $99.99 on-line.  This is the same price you will pay in the store tonight at midnight!

And if you use ebates you can get an additional 4% cash back (and if you are a first time Ebates user, a $10 gift card to the store of your choice.)

Here is how to take advantage of this great deal:

Log into or sign up for Ebates (you will LOVE it)

Search for Walmart in the upper right hand corner

When the results come up click the “buy now” orange circle

This will take you to Walmart.com.  Search for Nintendo Blue Wii.

Purchase the Wii as you normally would.

In a few days a $4 rebate will pop up in your Ebates account!  And if you are a new user you will have qualified for your $10 store card!

Or if you don’t want to mess with Ebates just go directly to Walmart.com!

Thanksgiving Day Drug Store Shopping- Moneymaker

I went to all three drugstores today (something I rarely do).  Even though Rite Aid’s Thanksgiving Ad was incredibly sad this year I did get three things there.

I don’t have time to break it all down by transaction but here is what I bought by store:

Rite Aid: 2 Scrunci Hair Elastics, Phillips Ear Phones

Walgreens: Cottonelle Toilet Paper, 2 Scunci Hair Elastics, Thermacare Heat Patch, 2 Gillette Fusion Aftershaves, Dental Flossers

CVS: Advil 4 ct, Advil 10 ct, Pepto Bismal, Kleenex, AA batteries, Carmex, Soft Lips, Finish Quantum Dishwashing Detergent, Dental Flossers, Peanut Butter M & Ms, and Ear Buds

Between the 4 stores I did 7 transactions.  I did not have store credit at any stores when I started.

My total spent out of pocket was $16.78.

I now have $17.22 in store credit to use on my next visits.

In coupon math we call that a MONEY MAKER!

How did you do?

Want to try the stores yourself?  Check out the deals at CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens.

Top 10 Black Friday Shopping Tips

If you are heading out Friday to do some shopping there are many things you can do to make the experience more enjoyable.

Here are my tips for the optimal shopping experience:

1.  Charge Your Phone- both for purposes of contacting the people you are shopping with and playing Angry Birds while you wait in line.

2. Eat a Good Breakfast- don’t shop hungry

3.  Dress Comfortably- Black Friday is not a fashion show

4.  Leave the Kids at Home- for your sake and the sake of everyone around you!

5.  BYOB: Bring Your Own Bag- carts are going to be in short demand

6.  Bring the store Ad- store ads will be in short supply as well.  Be sure to bring yours with your high demand items circle

7.  Bring the Store Map if available

8.  Create a shopping list with your high priority items

9.  Shop stores close together- no need to drive around town

10.  If you hate crowds, consider shopping on-line!

Follow these tips and you should have a great shopping trip and save lots of money!

Print Your Walmart and Target Maps Before Friday

Did you know that stores have special layouts just for Black Friday?

The electronic items you want may not be in the electronics section when you enter the store!

Two stores have their maps online for you to print before you even head out!

For Walmart click on Local Ad on the top of their site.  When you select your store you will be able to print the map for your location.

For Target click on that link and it will take you in where you can put in your zip code to get your map!

Also at my local Target they will be handing out Luna Bars- so you can grab a snack when you go in!  Hopefully yours will be too!

Black Friday: Ipod Touch Sale

This is a funny post to do because the best deals are not necessarily the best place to get it.

Let me show you what I mean:

Toys R Us:  $199.99 with a $50 giftcard
Walmart:  $195.00
Target:  $195.00 with a $40 giftcard
Best Buy:  $194.99 with a $50 giftcard

So as you can see it is cheaper to get the iPod touch at both Best Buy and Toys R Us then at Target.

That being said I would tell people to go to Target to get the iPod touch.  I feel like they will have more available and you can get the better deals with your gift card!

Thanks Mom on Dealz!
