This year has been my first season as a Busch Gardens Season Ticket Holder instead of just getting a Fun Pass. Are you wondering “Should I get a Busch Gardens Season Pass or a Fun Pass?” This post will look at a break down of the expenses of each.
How Much Does a Busch Gardens One Year Season Pass Cost?
A Busch Gardens One Year Seasons Pass is $120. It gets you into the park unlimited during the summer and during Howl O’ Scream. It also gives you FREE parking for those visits. It gives you 10% off everything you buy in the park. I also was able to print a ticket for a friend to get in FREE on one of my visits. And I will get a Christmas Town discount tickets. Additionally they have these really cool events like the two listed on the bottom of this post and you can only get into those as a Busch Gardens Season Ticket holder.
How Much Does a Busch Gardens Fun Pass Cost?
If I had bought Fun Passes assuming my exact same activities (which it most likely would not have been) here would have been the costs (and some anticipated costs):
Summer Fun Pass $72
Howl O’ Scream Fun Pass $72 (it’s the same price as a single day ticket so I would get the Fun Pass)
Friend’s Free Single Day Ticket $72 (which I NEVER would have done without the season ticket so I really shouldn’t count it)
Parking $15 per visit (I am going to estimate 5 visits) $75
Food Discount over the 5 visits $25
Total Cost: $316
By my estimates I saved over 50% getting the Busch Gardens One Year Seasons Pass instead of the “cheaper” Fun Pass. So make sure when you consider your passes you weigh all those hidden expenses!

Be one of the first 1,500 active Annual Pass Members* to Oktoberfest by 9 a.m. on Sat., Sept. 6 for a morning of surprises, exciting prizes and fun.
Also, enjoy an exclusive buffet lunch at noon in the Black Forest Picnic Village on either Saturday or Sunday. Tickets are $12† plus tax (ages 10+) and $9† plus tax (ages 3-9).
*Pass Member Ride Night and Member Appreciation Sept. 6 morning event are open to active Busch Gardens Williamsburg 1-Park, 2-Park and Platinum Pass Members. Children with a Preschool Pass are permitted to stay for the events, as long as they are accompanied by an active, Annual Busch Gardens Pass Member. Events are not available to Fun Card or 2-Park Fun Card holders. To remain in the designated event area, you will be asked to show your Pass. Event dates, times, ride availability and other inclusions are subject to change and/or cancellation.

Does the season pass to Busch Gardens include admission to Water Country?
Not to mention if you get on the EZ-pay program they keep you at the rate you are paying as long as you don’t cancel.
