About Me

Head Shot September 2012

Thanks for coming by to check out my blog! I hope that it becomes a daily part of your life- right in between checking your bank accounts and your facebook page!

So Who Am I? My name is Laura Oliver and I live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia with Bella, the wonder cat. She supervises all of my computer and coupon clipping activities to ensure everything is organized! I am extremely active in my church and always try to keep my number one priority worshiping and serving God.  I also do community theater, part time bookkeeping and chase around my niece and nephew.

Why Save Money? I started really watching my money once I realized that I was going to be responsible to pay for my education (my boss had originally told me the company would help with schooling but circumstances caused him to back out). The money from my second job would help, but wouldn’t cover it all. So when my sister began clipping coupons and searching the web for deals, I realized she had hit a gold mine. Other people were getting free stuff, why shouldn’t I?

I Want To Help! I understand how overwhelming all of this can seem but I promise you it is not hard at all to get started! I will be happy to hold your hand as you take your first steps to make the best possible use of the money you have and possibly come up with some easy ways to make some more!

Unfortunately I am not an IT employee so I don’t really have any tips for you. Here are the FAQS on Target’s website which are full of advice: http://www.target.com/HelpContent?help=/sites/html/TargetOnline/help/promotions_sweepstakes_and_discounts/printable_coupon_faqs/printable_coupon_faqs.html.

I hope it helps!

I am so fed up!. I have been trying to print the Target coupons on your website but absolutely nothing happens…on that one or any of the others that you talked about this morning. My printer is fine because I downloaded some patterns off of “Maggie’s Crochet” with no problems. What Gives?

I was a Staples yesterday and an Aeropostale offer of $10 off your purchase of $50 printed out. Since I did 3 transactions I have 3 coupons that I will not use. I wanted to send you an email with the scan attachment but am having trouble finding your email address. They Expire 8/12/12 if anyone wants them.

I enjoyed your “surviving grocery Wonderland” piece in Sunday’s Beacon. One add’l tip you might include in the future….don’t go shopping if you’re HUNGRY! It gets me EVERY time! Best regards, Abe Ellis

Bette- I would call their corporate office or if you are comfortable leave something on their facebook or twitter page. Let them know it’s not working!

Laura, I watch you on Sunday mornings and was excited about the Barnes and Noble 50% sale today. Printed the coupon and the store would not take it because it did not have a promo code on it. Another lady had the same problem. My husband and I were very unhappy with the results. Barnes and Noble were not willing to help us at all. Very disappointing.

I am so glad I found you! I have looked at so many blogs but none of them do Farm Fresh match ups. I live in Virginia Beach and it is so good to find someone more local. I will definitely be following your blog regularly. God bless you. Kim
