It was in their flyer and they use the same flyer nationwide. The Walgreens I went to had them right in the front of the store.

That is not correct. Your cashier was wrong. You need to avoid that Walgreens if it at all possible. At that time I usually tell people to give everything back and go to another Walgreens if the option is available.
I went to Walgreens to buy claritin. 9.99-3.00rr=6.99 was on the yellow price tag. I used 3.00 coupon from website and they would not issue rr because they said rr are manufacturers coupon and can’t use both, can only use their coupon from book or advertisement along w/manufacturers. My total cost was 6.99 and no rr. Disappointing.
so went to two walgreens and they had no idea about this special today. It a certain one?
