The Virginia Zoo is offering free admission to seniors beginning August 27, 2025!
To celebrate National Senior Citizens Day, the Virginia Zoo is proud to offer free admission every Wednesday from August 27- September 24 to seniors age 62+! Seniors will need to bring valid ID as proof of age for entry. Walkup tickets only. Accompanying, non-senior visitors will need to purchase tickets at the gate or in advance
The offer will be every Wednesday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Seniors will need to bring a valid ID as proof of age at time of entry. Free admission applies only to individuals age 62 and over. Other visitors will need to register or purchase in advance.
