The Virginia Zoo and Children’s Museum of Virginia are swapping members for the month of May.

Virginia Zoo members can visit the Children’s Museum of Virginia all month long – for free! Likewise, Children’s Museum members can visit the Zoo throughout September as well.

  • Virginia Zoo members can reserve tickets to visit the Children’s Museum of Virginia based on the current admittance number permitted to visit under their Virginia Zoo membership. For memberships that permit more than 8 visitors, you may reserve up to 8 admission tickets at no cost.
  • Virginia Zoo members can also enjoy a 15% discount in the gift shop.
  • Virginia Zoo members receive a 10% discount on a Portsmouth Museums membership.

The Children’s Museum of Virginia is open Wednesday-Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm.
