Laura,
The boxes did say fabric softener on them but, even when I pointed that out to them, the cashier, customer service person and manager all refused to manually apply the Target discount, I chose not to proceed with the Bounce purchases.
With the Clorox2, even though the digital coupon did not scan, customer service applied the discount.
Corporate, when I wrote them, just stated to read the details closely when using any coupons, digital coupons or Cartwheel. Nothing specific about those that had not worked for me.
Thanks you for your advice.

Well first don’t ever buy anything if they won’t give you the deal. Normally at my store they put them through with no problem. I supposed the argument would come down to if the Bounce boxes say “fabric softener” on them. I can’t find a picture online big enough to show me. But that’s how I would argue it. The Clorox to me is clear as day- it specifically says “spray” so as long as whatever I bought sprayed I would have probably argued a bit.
My Target digital coupon would not scan when I tried buying the small boxes of Bounce. Both the customer service rep and manager said it was because the digital coupon was for liquid fabric softeners only since the photo was of the liquid.
I contacted Target corporate for further explanation and received the same answer two times telling me to review all the details of each coupon carefully.
Any suggestions? I’ve had a similar problem with the Clorox2 digital coupon.
Thank you in advance!
