I can’t believe the day is finally here. My first book is available for the whole world to read (and hopefully love).
While I am completely biased I think it turned out beautifully. And it only took about 50 different designs to land on this one (there might have been some long walks shaking my hands at the sky trying to decide)! Thanks to all who voted on the book cover they preferred- it had a big impact on where we landed.
If you have ever wondered if you can write a book you can. You just google “how to write a book” and follow all the directions. I have never been in so over my head and yet somehow I came up with something I am really proud of!
What Is The Book About?
Attention singles! You can take charge of your finances!
Tired of the same old financial advice that blames your lackluster finances on your indulgence of avocado toast? Or reading books that make you feel guilty for going out to dinner with friends instead of staying home alone watching Netflix to save a few bucks?
Money-saving expert and single girl Laura M. Oliver, AKA A Frugal Chick, understands, and she is here to walk you through her experience becoming financially stable and building a solid plan for the future by sharing her simple strategies to decrease spending, increase savings, and live debt-free while still having a social life.
Money doesn’t have to be complicated or overwhelming. Laura shows you how simple it is to take control of your finances. You just have to be willing to take some active steps based on your current financial situation to build a better life for your future.
Singles: Take Control of Your Own Financial Journey will walk you through whichever of those steps you choose. Don’t have any debt? Skip those chapters. Happy with your budgeting strategy? Choose a different path. Married but still want to read the book? Cutting expenses is the same for everyone!
Who Is The Book For?
While the title of the book says singles there are many principles in the book that would apply to everyone.
If you have six months worth of bills in savings, a paid off mortgage and own all your vehicles this might not be the book for you.
If you want to get down to financial basics (whether as a refresher or for the first time) this is your book.
If you are feeling hopeless and so overwhelmed by your financial situation you want to just ignore it, this is your book.
If you feel like when you read other financial books you will have to put your entire life on hold to get out of debt and there must be another way, this is your book.
If you feel like without having a spouse there is no way you will ever get ahead in the world financially I wrote this book for you. I was you. Sometimes I am you.
If you have a child or grandchild getting ready to move out of the house, graduate from high school, finish college, get their first job or make some other big move this is their book. And it would make a lovely gift for the holidays (with a $20 bill tucked inside).
How Do I Buy It?
I am still figuring out Amazon’s software so for right now the two books are not linked. Hopefully that will be fixed within the next 24 hours but here are the two options available:
“Singles: Take Control of Your Own Financial Journey” for Kindle can be purchased currently for $4.99. This is a limited price and it will go up November 5th.
“Singles: Take Control of Your Own Financial Journey” in paperback can be purchased currently for $7.57. This is a limited price and it will go up November 5th.
What Can I Do To Help?
If you get the book and you love it please leave a review on Amazon! That makes a huge difference in the world of a young author! And spread the word!
