If your mattress has seen better days you might want to check out these Mattress Topper Deals for Black Friday.  And to help you make an informed decision I did a little research on mattress toppers to let you know your options!

Memory Foam Toppers (this is what I have): Memory foam cradles or hugs the body.  When you get up the foam slowly regains it’s shape.  They range in thickness from 2 to 4 inches and vary in density.  The more dense the more expensive and the more supportive.  Memory foam is the most temperature responsive and reports online say that if you sweat while you sleep be sure to get one with a fabric cover and it should help.

If you are interested in the one I use it is this Zinus 3 Inch Swirl Gel Memory Foam Convoluted Mattress Topper  and I have been VERY pleased.   Especially for the price- I was considering a whole new mattress and this solved my issue for around $50.

Latex Mattress Toppers: Latex is like memory foam but is springier.  Your body rests on the surface more than memory foam.  It is really great for motion isolation and isn’t washable so use a cover or sheet over it.

Fiber-Filled Mattress Toppers:  This is exactly what it sounds like- a mattress topper filled with polyester or some other synthetic fiber.  These seem to be what people use who like a firm mattress or just want a little extra padding.  They will need to be fluffed regularly, don’t provide pressure-point relief and may need to be dry cleaned.
