Normally I wouldn’t list a swap that is so far away (geographically) from many of my local readers but for those of you near Chesapeake, VA this is a great chance to score some free clothes.
My sister and I have attended this local clothing swap the past two years and have scored some great deals for my nephew.
On March 31st from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. there is a clothing swap at the Hickory Ruritan Club.
How it works is pretty easy- bring with you any “like-new” clothes you would like to swap. When you walk in they will look at all the clothing to make sure it is in good shape. For every piece of clothing you bring in, you get to pick out another piece of clothing for FREE. It’s an even swap- no money has to change hands. If you don’t have enough clothes to contribute there is a small charge for any overage items.
While I have never been too impressed with the adult selection they have a TON of kid’s clothing. So you can bring in everything your children have outgrown and grab some new items.
