I don’t usually publish this but I know many of you have purchased K-cups through my website online which means you have a receipt and can qualify possibly for this refund.
Keurig has agreed to pay $31 million to settle claims that it violated antitrust laws by fixing the price of its single-serve Keurig K-Cup coffee pods. This means that if you purchased Keurig K-Cups from sellers other than Keurig in the last 10 years, you could be eligible to receive up to 100% of your purchase price back!
This settlement provides cash payments as reimbursement for Keurig K-Cup purchases. Reimbursement rates will vary from 7.5% to 100% depending on the state where the purchases were made and whether proof of purchase is submitted with the claim. Since many of you buy online you likely have a receipt in your e-mails or purchase history.
Here are the qualifying purchase dates:
- between September 7, 2010 and August 14, 2020 in all states other than Mississippi and Rhode Island
- between March 24, 2011 and August 14, 2020 for Mississippi consumers
- between July 15, 2013 and August 14, 2020 for Rhode Island customers
Class Members must file a claim by July 15, 2021 to receive reimbursement. Proof of Keurig K-Cup purchase(s) and additional information (number of K-Cups purchased, the price paid, the state where the purchase took place, the brand name, etc.) is required to validate claims. If you’re unsure whether you qualify as a Class Member, please refer to the FAQ section of the Settlement Administrator’s website for clarification.
