HUGGIES® Saves The Day: A Lesson On Child Proofing Your House

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of HUGGIES [1]. All opinions are 100% mine.

My two kiddos are 4 and 2 and I find that I am constantly having to move something up higher or putting it in a locked cabinet.  I thought that my child proofing stage was over with all chemicals safely locked behind cabinets, plugs in all the outlets and door knob protectors on outside doors so the kiddos can not escape outside. I thought I was ready for active babies [2].  Boy was I wrong.

The other day the kids were playing together rather well so I decided to quickly go put a load of laundry into the washing machine. No biggie right? WRONG! When I came back to the play room they were not there and the house was very quiet. As I walked around the house looking for them I heard giggles coming from my bedroom. In less than two minutes they had managed to get into my make-up drawer and create these faces.

Both kiddos were super proud of their accomplishments but as you can see on my daughters face she knows she is in trouble.

The make-up was not only all over the dresser but all over their faces, hands, and my white bedding. Thankfully I had HUGGIES® Triple Clean* Wipes in the bathroom for such a mess like this. It not only got the make-up off of my kiddos faces it also got most of it out of the bedding too.

Now that this incident has happened, I have moved my make-up to a higher and safer place. I continue to walk around the house daily with eyes peeled for anything that could potentially cause another mess such as this one.

I am sure there are more lessons to learn about child proofing especially as my kiddos continue to explore, but I am very thankful that from birth with HUGGIES® Snug & Dry Diapers to toddlers with HUGGIES® Little Movers Diapers available at Walmart [3], HUGGIES® has been a brand that I will continue to rely on for all of life’s messes.
