What is an Online Entertainment Coupon Book?
With smartphones taking over just about everything, it just seems logical there is an Entertainment Book App. The app is a really nice addition to the traditional coupons. Especially since while you may leave the book at home, you most likely will have your phone.
The app logs in to your personal online Entertainment.com account and shows coupons that are relevant to your local area. Many of the traditional paper coupons are duplicated on the app. So you basically get two coupons for the price of one assuming you also own a book.
On top of duplicating coupons, the Entertainment Book App gives you additional digital only coupons. It will also provide featured coupons from time to time that are a VERY good discount.
The cost is generally $19.99 a year or $1.99 a month.
Why Use an Online Entertainment Coupon Book?
I have to admit- I wasn’t convinced this was a good idea. I REALLY like my paper entertainment book and the feeling of flipping through the pages to make plans.
BUT there are a few reasons to use the online coupons:
- When you buy a paper Entertainment Book you automatically get a digital code for FREE. You might as well take advantage.
- If you don’t buy the book but just buy the online book the price is often cheaper.
- Sometimes they sell out of certain areas. As of writing this there are no more paper books available for where I live. But they won’t run out of digital coupons!
How To Use The Online Entertainment Coupon Book
When you purchase your Entertainment Book you should receive a code good to use online for coupons as well. I am going to walk you through how to do this on your phone.
Go to entertainment.com or just download the app from your store. On the upper right hand side click on the menu button (the three lines) and then click on Sign In/Activate. On the website (if you activate on your computer) just look for Activate Membership.
You should have an access code in the e-mail from The Entertainment Book people that you can use to activate your membership. Just enter where it says “enter access code.”
Now you can open up the app and choose what you would like to find deals on.
I love how everything is divided! When you select “dining” you can sort by types.
And if you hit the menu in the upper left hand corner you can actually search by your location.
The app is very easy to use! So if you got your paper book and never activated your online membership you are missing out! Be sure to take advantage and save even more money!
