When I begin to get stressed about my life most of the time it honestly comes from a lack of organization. Whether it’s my finances, my house or my schedule, not having everything in it’s place can make my already crazy life even crazier. Years ago when I was working three jobs to pay off debt I would come home at night, walk through the door and want to cry. My home was supposed to be my safe place where I felt comfortable. Instead it was full of clutter, unwashed laundry, shoes and clothes everywhere and reminders of how organizing was not made a priority in my life.
When most people think of organizing they think of things like bins, shelves, holders, baskets and cabinets. Those can add up to big money even when they are on sale. And while they can be useful tools they are not necessary to keep your home clean and stress free!
Beginning after the first of the year I am so excited to be offering you a new series: Frugal Ways To Organize Your Home. (We will talk about the finances and the schedule later!) They are things I have been using in my own home and have helped tremendously during this busy time of year as well as advice from friends of mine who put my organization skills to shame.
The series will have 10 posts in it but four of them will only be available to people who have signed up to receive them via e-mail. It’s bonus material for my e-mail subscribers! If you would like to receive them you can sign up below. Just check the box that says “Receive Extra Information on Frugal Organizing” to be added to the list. And if you would like to receive my daily newsletter so you don’t miss any deals then check the box that says “Receive the Daily Newsletter.”
I also have started a Pinterest Board called How To Organize My Home. I will be putting all of my posts on there as well as other things I find online that look interesting to me!
