White Chocolate Orange Dream Cookies

Ingredients
  • 2½ C flour
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1C unsalted sweet cream butter, room temperature
  • ½ C granulated sugar
  • ½ C light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tbsp orange zest
  • 2 C white chocolate chips plus ½ C of white chocolate chips to melt later
  • 1 disposable piping bag
  • 1 cookie sheet fitted with parchment paper
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Using a standing mixer, cream together the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg, vanilla, orange juice and orange zest and mix until combined.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet
  6. Once the dough has formed and everything has been mixed, mix in the 2 cup of white chocolate chips.
  7. Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop some batter onto the cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown
  9. Let cool for a few minutes
  10. Place cookies onto another cookie sheet or wire rack and finish baking the rest of the dough
  11. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the ½ cup of white chocolate chips
  12. Scoop melted chocolate into the piping bag
  13. Cut the tip off the piping bag and drizzle the chocolate over the cookies
  14. Let chocolate completely harden before enjoying!
