During the heat of the summer adults are often looking for a refreshing way to cool down with a little kick. And these Easy to Make Adult Frozen Grapes are perfect for that!
I had them the first time a few years ago at a party and fell in love. As someone who really doesn’t drink alot it was nice to get the taste of a sweet wine without the effects of alcohol.
Easy To Make Adult Frozen Grapes
Ingredients:
Grapes (I prefer green but at the time I did this we are under quarantine and the selection at the store is limited)
1/2 cup sugar
The sweet wine of your choice (enough to cover the grapes you have- just go ahead and grab a whole bottle and you can drink the rest)
Directions:
Clean the grapes and take them off the stem.
Grab a pitcher or bowl and put the grapes in it.
Add enough wine until it covers the grapes. I did 2 bottles of the 187 mL size Barefoot Moscato because I like REALLY sweet wine. And added about a quarter cup of sugar and stir.

Stir and put in the refrigerator to marinade. I left them in overnight.
Once you are satisfied with the marinade you need to decide if you want to save the wine in the pitcher. If you don’t just pour the grapes into a colander in the sink like you are draining pasta. If you want to save the wine take the colander and put it over a bowl or cup to drain.
Roll the grapes in as much sugar as you would like. Once they are coated put them in a container and drop them in the freezer. They usually freeze in 3 to 4 hours.
And enjoy! You can use them as ice cubes in your drinks or just eat straight up!
