Disney has released their pricing and discount information for military families for 2019 at both Disney World and Disneyland. I know many of my readers are military and this was a discount I didn’t know existed!
For 2018 and 2019 they come in two types:
- The Theme Park Hopper Option, which allows you to visit multiple parks on the same day
- The Theme Park Hopper Plus Option, which allows 4 entrances to a variety of non-theme Park Disney venues in addition to your 4 theme park days
The promotional tickets below are available for purchase:
- 4-Day Military Promotional Ticket with the Park Hopper Option for $241 plus tax
- 5-Day Military Promotional Ticket with the Park Hopper Option $257 plus tax
- 4-Day Military Promotional Ticket with the Park Hopper Plus Option $291 plus tax
- 5-Day Military Promotional Ticket with the Park Hopper Plus Option $307 plus tax
The 5-Day Military Promotional Tickets can be purchased now through December 15, 2019, and the 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets are available for purchase now through December 16, 2019.
These special tickets must be used between January 1, 2019, going through December 19, 2019.
Memory Maker Discount
In addition, military members can also purchase the Memory Maker product for a special price of just $98 from January 1, 2019, through December 19, 2019. The Memory Maker includes unlimited digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos, select attraction photos and videos, select character dining photos, discounts on prints of your photos, digital borders, stickers to personalize your photos and more! No more than two Memory Maker products may be purchased at the special price.
For The Best Deal Purchase on Base
As usual I messaged my girl Carrie at Destinations in Florida. No one I know can tell me more about saving at Disney than Carrie.
She said that you have two options for getting your discounted tickets- you can buy on base or you can buy at the park. However she recommends grabbing the tickets on base because you won’t pay sales tax. Then she can book your room/dining portions of your trip, help you link your passes to your Magic Bands, assist with dining reservations and making the best choices with your Fast Passes!
Carrie will give you a free quote on how much your trip should be and help you look at possibilities of moving dates to get the best bang for your buck. If you just want a firm number to be able to make an informed decision she can do that. If the price goes down between now and your trip Jennifer will get you the lower price option (just like Amazon). You do have to pay your balance 30 days before your trip.
I didn’t realize you could make payments on a trip without having to get a credit card or pay interest. You put $200 down and it locks in your price. Then you can make payments each month until you have paid for your trip in full. With cash. BEFORE you go.
