It’s been a while since I posted a CVS ExtraBucks deal but this one is worth it. So many of you have been looking for deals on the 23andMeGenetic DNA Starter Kit for the holidays. And THIS is your deal. Just be sure to read this so you understand what is going on.
Step One– You need a CVS card. They are free. I would get this BEFORE you go in to purchase this item because you won’t want to be waiting around.
Step Two– They will not have hundreds of these in store and they are going to be hot. So you will need to plan to be at your local CVS pretty early Thanksgiving morning. I would call a few days ahead and see when their deals will switch over- some are open 24 hours a day so the deal could be in the middle of the night.
Step Three– For those of you who don’t know how ExtraBucks work here is how the deal will go. It’s on sale for $29.99 and you earn $29.99 in ExtraBucks. When you get to the register you will pay $29.99. On the end of your receipt (which will be the length of a mini-van) will be a piece of paper worth $29.99 in ExtraBucks which are CVS store credit. Think of it as a CVS gift card expect on paper.
Step Four– Now you can hang onto those ExtraBucks for a later date or you can just turn around and use them. Grab $29.99 in laundry detergent, toothpaste, shampoo, razors… whatever you need. And if you know how to play the coupon game you can use it for other items that have ExtraBucks and really maximize savings.
** Please note you can only get one 23andMeGenetic DNA Starter Kit per household so if you need a few you might need to bring a friend with their own CVS card.**
Once we scan in the CVS ad I will add it to this post but the copies I am seeing online aren’t quite clear enough to read everything perfectly and the small print is important at CVS.
