We finally have the information on the Busch Gardens Williamsburg Christmas 2020 Event! After months of speculation we know what they are going to do! The event this year will be titled the Busch Gardens Christmas Celebration and it looks like a perfect way to celebrate the holidays with friends and family!
Park guests can safely celebrate the holidays as they stroll through plenty of outdoor space during this new, limited capacity experience. Sparkling lights, beautiful decorations, festive foods, live seasonal music, exciting coasters and attractions, plus abundant shopping with physical distancing will make the spirit of the season come alive.
When Will It Be Open?
This event will run from November 14th to January 3rd during select hours. In November Friday through Sunday will be open and then beginning December 11th there will be some week nights.
If you are not able to get a reservation for your desired day keep watching. Many people make multiple reservations and then release them a day or two before if something comes up. Or the weather isn’t what they would like.
How Do I Go to The Busch Gardens Williamsburg Christmas 2020 Event?
As with their other special events this year there will be a limited amount of spaces and reservations will be required. Membership holders (not season ticket/annual pass holders) will not have to pay for the event- otherwise single day tickets begin at $39.99. Reservations are open now and expected to fill quickly!
Children under 3 do not require a ticket or reservation.
The best way for guests to savor and save during the holidays is with a Christmas Celebration ticket plus a dine bundle that includes Busch Gardens Christmas Celebration admission, plus one entrée, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage starting at only $59.99.
If you are considering paying for a one night ticket and have thought AT ALL about grabbing a membership take a moment to consider that again. A Busch Gardens One Park Unlimited Membership is $188.99 per member and then you could go to the Christmas Event as many times as you can get reservations. Plus you will enjoy unlimited admission to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for 12 months, including Howl-O-Scream, Christmas Town, FREE General Parking, 2 FREE Guest Tickets, up to 20% In-Park discounts, FREE Annual PhotoKey, exclusive member events, monthly rewards and more.
I have been reading the posts on social media and here are some of the common questions people are asking. Hopefully this can save you some time!
- Update: It appears on the website Preschool Passes ARE WORKING! Keep watching this! Preschool Passes will not be accepted for this event. Preschool passes have NEVER been accepted for this event so this isn’t unusual from years past.
- For Membership holders your free “bring a friend” tickets will not be accepted for this event. You will have extra ones during the 2021 season.
- There will be no Christmas Fun Card this year.
- Waves of Honor Single Day Military tickets are not valid for this event.
- Annual Passholders (as in years past) will need a separate ticket for this event. So if you have not updated to a membership you will need to pay to enter.
What Will Be Open?
