THIS was quite the bit of news to wake up to this morning!

Amazon has raised the minimum for Free Super Saver Shipping!

Now in order to qualify for it you must have $35 worth of eligible items in your cart.

Here is what they say about it:

“Amazon’s minimum order size for free shipping has changed to $35. This is the first time in more than a decade that Amazon has altered the minimum order for free shipping in the US. During that time, we have expanded free shipping selection by millions of items across all 40 product categories. Look for “FREE Shipping” on product pages to discover eligible items. “

With this minimum being raised now is a great time to consider getting Amazon Prime! It’s $79 per year after a free one month trial and will give you access to free instant videos, 2 day shipping and more year round. If you order from Amazon often it’s a great way to avoid over spending to reach the $35 minimum or paying additional shipping on small orders.

I think Amazon Prime is great for lightning deals too- you can buy it quickly and not have to worry about hitting a minimum!
