I am a big fan of apples. Last weekend I had apple pie ice cream for the first time in forever and it was every bit at magical as I remember it being. So when this recipe popped up on my radar I was all over it. EASY APPLE PIE JAM sounds fantastic to me- especially with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.

Directions:
Core, peel and dice apples into bite size pieces. (I am big fan of this apple corer instead of using a knife)
Add to a pan with brown sugar, lemon juice, butter, and spices.
Simmer for approximately 30 minutes until the apples turn an amber color. Plus enjoy the smell!
The apples should be transparent and the jam should be glossy but not too thick.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal with sterilized lids.
