Walgreens: $.50 Color Wonder Items

by Laura on April 4, 2011

If you have Easter baskets to fill I would highly recommend stopping at Walgreens!

This week Walgreens has a bunch of Crayola items on sale 2 for $3.  In Sunday’s Paper (4/3) there was a coupon for $1 off in the Smart Source insert.

Combine the coupons (you need 2 coupons) with the sale and you end up getting the items for $.50 each!

I also have a $2 off coupon from Crayola (it was in the same insert as the $1 coupon. Is there a reason why I can’t use that one too? Am I missing something?

They should let you use both coupons in one transaction. I do it all the time with things- if anyone has a problem let me know!

I used both of these coupons today too!! Instead I got the mini sticker books that were 62 cents each or 2/$3 – with the coupon being limit 6 – I got 6/$1 with one coupon one transaction and 6/$1 with second coupon second transaction. the reason for the sticker books is to include in my daughter’s EAster goody bags for her classmates. so with the coupons each mini book ended up costing me 31 cents!!!! I was so excited since I am new to major couponing — thanks for all the tips :)

Strangest thing: the $1 off any Crayola Color Wonder item in my Sunday Paper (VA pilot) had no bar code # which I didn’t notice. I didn’t cut if off when I was coupon clipping- it was just not there. I went to Walgreens to get the 2/$3 Color Wonder on the Go packs and wanted to use 2 of the $1 off coupons. The wouldn’t scan and the Manager came and pointed out the missing numbers to me :o( He said he’d never seen that before.
