I’m not sure if this will help anyone, but the Virgina Department of Motor Vehicles now has an ID card for Virginia veterans. It costs $10 and allows non-retirees to prove that they were in the military. I’ve used mine for veterans discounts in Virginia.

If it does not specifically say ‘active duty, veteran, etc’ does that mean even non-military folks can get these deals????
