Teacher Appreciation Week Idea

[1]Teacher Appreciation Week Idea

I love the idea of Teacher Appreciation Gifts that look difficult but actually only take a few minutes.  This is one of them.  And it’s practical- each of those flowers is taped to the bottom of a Sharpie!

Teacher Appreciation Week Idea

What you need:

Sharpies (I used 9)

A flower pot or watering can (I got this one from the Dollar Spot at Target)

9 flowers (I used coupons at Michaels and bought three bunches.  I let my nephew pick the flowers since he was giving these to his teacher.)

Electrical tape, duct tape or flower wire

Wire cutters

Paint Pens (I purchased these at Michaels as well)

Did you know with Michaels you can shop online and have it shipped to your local store FREE? [2]    You just walk in and everything is ready to go!

Directions

When I got the flowers home I cut the stems so they were the proper length for the watering can with the wire cutters.

Then I used black electrical tape to firmly attach the flowers to the Sharpies.

Once they were finished I wrote the teacher’s name on the watering can with a paint pen.  You could skip this step if you like but I thought it added a nice touch.

Then just arrange the flowers in your pot or watering can and you are good to go!
