Target’s New Money Saving Program: Cartwheel

I try not to tell you guys about new programs until I use them.  I have used Cartwheel [1] TWICE with no problems so now I am ready to roll it out to you!

Before I get started you should know you MUST have Facebook in order to use Cartwheel [1].  They use Facebook as sort of advertising which allows them to give you these discounts for free instead of spending money with a marketing company.  Once you select an offer, it will show in your newsfeed, so your friends will learn about the application (you can actually change your setting though, if you would like, and this information will not post on your wall).

You can actually save up to 30% off of items at Target, including grocery, apparel, health and more! And you can stack Cartwheel coupons with Target store coupons and manufacturer’s coupons- allowing you to double dip on the savings.

Here we go:

First, just go to Target Cartwheel [1].  Click on the blue Facebook login button (in the corner) – make sure you give the app permission to run.  Then, go through all of the offers and click on those you are interested in using.

One you select the offer, it will show up in your own cartwheel. You can add up to 10 offers initially.

Once you are ready to shop:

You click on the my CartWheel button at the top of the page. You will see a list of all of the offers you have added to your account.   If you have changed your mind about one of the offers, you can click on it and hit the remove button and it will be taken off of your list.  If you are ready to shop, click the black redeem in store button, which will bring up a printable list format.   Print and take this with you to the store.  The barcode will be scanned by the team member and the savings will show up!

Here is an example of a deal that can save you big:

Buy 1 Merona Men’s Polo at $8.99 (down from $14.99)
Use $3/1 Men’s Merona Polo Target Mobile coupon [2] (but this could also be a manufacturer’s coupon or a Target printable coupon)
Stack with 10% off Men’s Merona Polo Target Cartwheel [3]
$5.39 after coupons

Give it a try yourself- it was VERY easy to use!
