This Simple Strawberry- Kiwi Smoothie Recipe is a great way to get your Protein (Greek Yogurt), Vitamin C (Kiwi), and all the benefits of Flaxseed.
This simple and tasty smoothie recipe does it all with just a few ingredients in a few minutes. Besides being healthy- it is also delicious, rich, and creamy, making it a satisfying breakfast, or snack option.
You can make this smoothie from fresh fruit or pre-measure and place in a bag to store ahead in the freezer for a quick and healthy breakfast on the go.
Ingredients:
1 cup Strawberries
1 Kiwi
1 cup plain Greek nonfat yogurt
1 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. ground Flaxseed
½ cup skim, almond, or soy milk
Directions:
Peel Kiwi.
Hull (or remove the top part) of your Strawberries.
Rough chop fruit so that it blends smoothly.
Add all ingredients to blender.
Blend for 30-60 seconds until fruit is pureed and all ingredients are mixed well.
