So I thought I’d try again to price match at Target. I took my sales ad from Farm Fresh in and spoke with customer service. the first lady saw the ad and said yes we will price match and only customer service could ring me out, not the regular cashiers, their computers are not set up to. So I did my shopping and went and stood in line for close to 10 minutes and was told they do not price match when an item has a limit on it. I give up/……

I have a hard time price matching @ TARGET! I take my ads to BOTTOM DOLLAR or WALMART. It is less drama!

I have price matched at Target with a CVS flyer- which requires a card. Did you try to match at Walmart or Target?

  4. LISA says

When I tried to price match to Rite Aid I was told that they only price match to stores who do NOT require a card to scan such as Farm Fresh. They does not leave us with many stores in this area. Also they do not price match walmart.I am going to email customer service because if that the true they need to change the logo “we price match ANY competitors price”.

Walmart will match any competitor’s pricing as long as it can be matched exactly in brand and size/weight (this includes produce and meat!) and you do NOT have to go to customer service. They’ll match it right at the register. I usually ad match about 5 different stores a week at my Walmart. They will also accept competitor’s coupons but only if it lists the specific pricing. A coupon for “Folgers 11oz Coffee $4.29” can be used but not “$1.00 off Folgers 11oz”. One thing Walmart will NOT do is ad match for register rewards. If the ad says “Folgers Coffee $5.29, $1.00 Register Reward, it’s like paying $4.29!” then they won’t match. Only if it’s the exact pricing without rewards. If it says “with card” or “with wellness card” though then they will match.

Anyone have any experience with this? I have never tried to match a coupon item- just sale items.

I went to Target today to price match Walgreens 2/$1 jello and they would not because it was a coupon…I tried to find the out if this was true… but no luck…Do you know??

  8. Ashley says

Walmart will also match those prices listed with the rebates. For instance, the Wal-Fex allergy is listed on sale $9.99 with the rebate, and I matched it down from Walmart’s $13.24 last night. That saves a lot of time and money, b/c you save instantly on the product you just purchased!
