Excited to check out Water Country USA? Don’t forget to look at the Busch Gardens Williamsburg Coupons!
My name is Little Buddy and this summer I had the chance to take my first trip to Water Country USA® in Williamsburg, VA. My Mommy, Grandma and Aunt Laura have a Busch Gardens + Water Country USA 2-Park, One Year Pass so we can go as many times as we want and not even pay for parking!
We drove to the park and got a spot pretty close to the front. After my mom slathered us all with sunscreen (and put on my VERY cool hat), we gathered our bags and went inside the park. It was so clean (plenty of garbage cans for my diapers!) and lots of shade for me to sit in.
The first place we went was Cow-A-Bunga. My big brother and sister got to play in the water and go down the two water slides (one in an inner tube!). The water is very shallow so all ages of kids could play in it. I got to sit in the shade to sleep and eat and the adults took turns taking care of me.
Next we went to Kritter Korral. My brother LOVES this place because they have a giant whale slide and an elephant that squirts you. At the shallow end they have a bunch of inner tubes like in this picture. One side you fit all the way through and the other side little people can sit in without falling! Mommy let my brother hold me long enough for Aunt Laura to take a picture of all three of us!
Then he figured out the most relaxing way to float around was to have our sister pull him. So he leaned back and made her do all the work!
Then we went over to Surfer’s Bay, which is their HUGE wave pool. We got free life vests for everyone and went to relax and float. I almost fell asleep it was so peaceful. Then the waves started and everyone laughed and jumped up and down in the water.
My brother wanted to go on his first big ride so he and Aunt Laura went and rode Big Daddy Falls. You can fit up to six people in the inner tube so our whole family will be able to go once I am bigger! Aunt Laura didn’t want to get her phone wet so we don’t have any pictures.
For our last trip we went to the Lazy River. Aunt Laura and my brother got a double tube and floated in the sun while we played in the pool. She said they did something called “math problems” while they were floating around. It looked very relaxing and when I am big enough I will check it out!
Looking at the map on our way out there were still LOTS of parts of the park we didn’t see. There should be lots of fun rides for many years to come!
I am so excited to go back next year!
