My First Farmers Market Trip 2011

by Laura on June 25, 2011

Before I dash out the door to teach I wanted to show you my Farmer’s Market trip from this morning.  It had to be a quick one so I didn’t have much time to compare prices from vendor to vendor but here is a picture of my haul.  3 ears of corn, blackberries, okra, two cantaloupe, two cucumbers, two summer squash, one zucchini and two green peppers.

It was around $13 for these items combined and they all look amazing!  I love this time of year!

What about you?  Any good finds at your local market during the summer months?
