I will do a bigger post about MacArthur Center (my favorite mall in my area) later but I wanted to mention this AMAZING program before tax free weekend in so many of my readers states. I have never seen a retail rewards program like this at a mall.
MacArthur Center is owned by Starwood Retail Partners and they have a nice selection of malls. So click here to check them out- don’t assume you aren’t eligible for Oh, So Simple Rewards just because you don’t live near Norfolk, VA.
What Is Oh, So Simple Rewards?
Oh, So Simple Rewards is one of the easiest shop and earn programs I have ever seen. Every time you spend money at MacArthur Center- whether it’s for one purchase or several together- you receive reward alerts in your account. This includes stores, restaurants and the theater!
Earn $10 for every $250 you spend. Just use your connected card when you visit. We’ll keep track of your progress for you. Once you earn your reward, we’ll automatically put $10 back on your card the next time you visit.
How Does It Work?
You head over to http://www.shopmacarthur.com/rewards (or whatever mall you live near) to sign up. Or you can sign up at one of the kiosks pictured above in your mall (if you do that all you have to do it slide your card through the reader). You link whatever credit/debit cards you use to shop to your account. Any time you use the card in the mall it will automatically add any transactions to your account.
I love this because there is no punch card. No fob on my keychain. No app on my phone. I just use the normal card I shop with and earn those rewards!
Every time you spend $250 from one purchase or several together, you earn a $10 reward. This program caps your reward credit for any single purchase of $2,500 or more. Once earned, get your qualifying reward by making a purchase of $10 or more. A $10 statement credit will then be put back on your enrolled credit or debit card within 3-4 days.
Are There Other Discounts?
I’m so glad you asked. MacArthur Center also has a nice sheet of Student & Teacher Discounts and Military Discounts. Don’t forget to combine those with Oh, So Simple Rewards to really maximize your savings!
