Locals: Virginia Stage Company Presents “The Odd Couple” $15.00 Tickets

Those of you who read my blog on a regular basis know that I am a big fan of local theater. I am lucky to live in an area where we have a TON of great theater. There are about a dozen local community theaters where you can catch great shows for between $12 and $20 a ticket. And whenever I am in one I promise to let you know.

One of my favorite places to see a show is the beautiful and historic Wells Theater in downtown Norfolk.  Inside you can find productions from The Virginia Stage Company- which are almost always fantastic (I actually just went recently and saw their current show which was amazing).

While the tickets can be very pricy for those of us who are frugal they have an awesome chance for people to see the shows at a REAL discount.

The Sunday before the show opens VSC has what they call a “preview night.”  The performance begins at 7 p.m. and the seating is general admission (meaning you run in the door and grab the seats you want).  The best news- the tickets are only $15!

If this interests you the next show they are going to be doing is a classic “The Odd Couple”.  (Yes THIS “The Odd Couple”).  The preview night will be Easter Sunday March 30th.

The tickets can be reserved by calling 757-627-1234 beginning Monday,  March 18th.

Check it out- it could be a great date night!
