I am republishing this on 12/20.  As far as I know all these deals are still valid but I have not double checked all of them!

Many people just find it easier to give gift cards during the holiday season- especially for those “pickier” people on our lists.   Many companies are now offering extra perks when you buy a gift card for someone- like maybe a gift card to save for yourself!

If you are looking at purchasing gift cards (many of which can be bought online) here are some places giving you those extra perks!

Retail Stores

  • AMC Theatres - Every $30 spent in gift cards get a $5 concession card.
  • Barnes and Noble – Buy $100 in gift cards and get a $10 e-gift card.
  • The Children’s Place – Buy $40 in gift card get a $10 bonus gift card.
  • GAP/Old Navy- Use your Gap Inc. credit card to buy gift cards and save 10% on the gift card purchase.
  • The Limited – Buy $50 in gift cards get $10 Shopping Reward.
  • L.L. Bean – Spend $50 in merchandise get a $10 gift card.
  • Staples – Buy $50 in gift cards get a $10 bonus gift card.

  • Dell – Buy $400 in Dell eGift Cards and get a $75 bonus eGift Card
