Starbucks has unveiled a new drink and wants you to check it out!
Here is the description of the new drink: “Like the company’s ever-popular caramel macchiato, the hazelnut iteration will also be made with vanilla syrup, milk, a layer of foam and espresso on top (one shot for a tall, two for the grande and venti sizes). But — wait for it — the new drink will be topped with a drizzle of hazelnut sauce instead of caramel. See the difference?
While a few days ago all you had to do was ask for a small Hazelnut Macchiato at participating Starbucks stores from 3/5/2013 to 3/31/2013 it appears they have made some changes.
I am hearing now from my coffee drinking readers that you need to go to the store and ask for a coupon for a free drink on your next visit.
As I always say be sure to call your closest location and check they are participating before you head out!

My local Starbucks told me that they had coupons but the barrista could not find them. I am emailing Starbucks to get one (hopefully)

I am going to update the post tonight. Talked to several bloggers- it has been different all over the country.
I went today (March 8). Was told I needed a coupon too. They did give me a coupon for a different free drink on my next visit.
There was not a few days ago. I have heard from some people they have coupons inside the stores that they have been handing out.
