Elmo 2nd Birthday Party

Elmo 2nd Birthday Party

My niece is turning 2 this summer and my sister is throwing her an Elmo Party!  Even though we are still a few weeks away she still occasionally looks at me, smiles and says “Elmo Party!”  I would say she is a little excited.

My sister has done an incredible job working on the plans for the party- a mixture of things she has found online and her own imagination.

I wanted to share some of the options she considered with you!

Invitations

Amazon has a wide selection of Elmo Birthday Party Invitations [1].  But honestly I think the ones you print yourself are much cuter!

For those of you who have good color printers there are several adorable Elmo Printable Invitations available online.

These were my favorites:

Elmo Invitation Generic [2] by haathse- This one you just type in your information and print!- FREE

Blank Invitation Elmo [3] by haathse- This one is completely blank and you do all the language yourself.- FREE

Free Printable Elmo Birthday Kit [4] by Sherykdesigns- this is a kit with many printable pieces.- FREE

I spent a while looking at invitation on Etsy but honestly, I thought all of these free ones were just as cute as the printable ones you had to pay for!

Plates, Cups, Nakpins, Silverware Etc.

We have been watching The Dollar Spot at our local Targets like a hawk.  They have a wide variety of Elmo/Sesame Street items.  We were able to find these adorable cups for $1 each.  The kids can use them during the party and take them home as part of their favors!

Because the cups were a bit more expensive the rest of the items will just be Elmo colored- red, pink, white etc.

If you are fan of buying and being done check out this Elmo Birthday Standard Kit Serves 8 Guests (Includes Plates, Napkins, Cups, Forks, Spoons and Knives) [5].  Around $16 for everything you need for 8 guests.

The Goody Bags

If you know anything about Elmo you know he loves his goldfish [6] and crayons [7]!  This makes an easy combination for a goody bag.

Amazon has a large selection of 4 Packs of Crayons [8]– starting at prices as low as $4 for 12 packages.

Also there are several options for Goldfish in Individual Bags [9]– as low as $7!

I see no reason to recreate the wheel on this one.  Check out these fantastic Crayon Border Thank You Message [10] I found from allthingsgd.  Print it out on card stock and attach it to your goody bags!

There are tons of Elmo Party Bags [11] but honestly I think a sandwich bag would look great. Grab some curling ribbon and attach the tag for an adorable party bag!
