My de-stressing tip for week #6 is something I try to do every day. Statistics show that around 62% of American households have pets- most of which you can probably play with in some capacity. (Even fish can be very relaxing to watch.)
Your de-stressing activity for the week is to play with a pet.
I have a cat named Bella. While she occasionally drives me mad she can also be very relaxing. (Total side note- have you ever seen Simon’s cat? I post these videos on A Frugal Chick’s facebook page periodically. This is the one that demonstrates my life on a regular basis.)
Take a little while and play with a pet. Throw a ball with a dog, get a laser pointer with a cat or chase your gerbil around the house in a plastic ball. If you don’t have a pet see if a friend will let you come over and borrow theirs! I am sure many would be HAPPY to let you walk their dog or talk to their bird.
