This is just a quick post for people who are new to couponing and trying to learn the lingo. One of the easiest ways to save money with coupons is “coupon stacking.”
Many stores release their own coupons- a coupon for a regular item with their own logo on it. Click here to see some printable Target coupons- these are great examples!
Then you get a regular manufacturer’s coupon for the same item and head to the store. When you check out, present the cashier with both coupons and get both amounts reduced off the total.
For example, today I went to Pet Smart to get cat supplies. I had a $5 off Petsmart coupon for cat litter. On the cat litter box was a $2 coupon. I was able to use both and get $7 off the litter.
In addition to Pet Smart, Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens and Target also stack. This can be a great chance to save some extra money!
